“ Too bad this place closed. The food was amazing!!! We kept trying to go but they kept being closed. We tried several times and then noticed it closed completely. The owners next door were vague about what was going on, as they owned both places. Wished they were still open and served breakfast. ”

“ I walked in puzzled about the name of the place but left delighted with a good breakfast in the belly. As I walked in I saw the huge pancakes go by and thought that it looked good but it was too much food for my party of 1 today. I went with the classic Benedict because everything else looked like a huge meal. Good choice! The eggs were perfectly poached! A generous slice of Canadian bacon was included and the muffin was fresh and toasty. The only thing that didn't impress was the sauce. The hollandaise was a little bland. I had to give a generous coating of hot sauce to give the plate some flavor. The potatoes were great. The avocado was fresh and overall the meal was pretty good. Among the best I've had in town. Definitely want to come back with others to share some of the sweet treats they have. People sitting down the way were super impressed with the waffle Monte cristo. The pancake table was non stop about how good the cakes were. My menu choice was good but not as good as some of the others people were raving about. Looking forward to visit #2. ”

“ We sat on the patio with puppy and it's fully shaded with misters. Our waiter , Roberto (?), was so nice and helpful! The club sandwich was sooooo big and really good too. The breakfast was an all day special today and was good as well . However, the pancake is a really thick but mom and I prefer ours on the thin and crispy side. I never figured out why most places make big thick pancakes. We will be back for sure. ”

“ Food, drink, and service were immaculate . Everything was prepared quickly and cooked to perfection as described. The lime margarita was refreshing and felicitous. Bacon was also amazing and crunchy. Most of alll the service was very friendly and attentive. I would return. Ambiance was touristy but fine. ”

“ I was heading home back to Vegas- leaving mountain center yesterday. so we decided to grab some breakfast. I noticed that this place had really good reviews so we decided to try them out. Walked in was immediately greeted by the hostess, was able to pick our own seat. One seated a few waiters greeted us and let us know they'll be right with us very friendly staff great service the store was right next to a sushi store. I'm assuming it's the same management, very welcoming and comforting when you walk in. I got the breakfast sandwich on sourdough, they loaded that sandwich with cheese. I felt like I was eating a grilled cheese breakfast sandwich. Absolutely delicious! The potatoes were also pretty good. He got an egg Benedict with hash browns, he ate the entire thing, so he enjoyed it. He also got the matcha latte, but tasted too much like milk not enough matcha flavor. Overall the food was good :) ”

“ Great addition to Palm Desert! Even in the land of brunch abundance, I think Dragon Café stands out. Easy parking, exceptionally fast & friendly service, clean and comfortable. Not empty (a bunch of people were sitting outside on their nice shaded patio) but zero wait around 9:30am on a Sunday. Good coffee, good classic diner food with a few nice surprises on the menu (like a pineapple upside-down pancake) as well as go-to faves (CYO omelette, patty melt). The Early Bird Special ($9.95 for 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, hash browns, and choice of bread or pancake) is an amazing deal. They also have an American version of the Early Bird Special with 3 eggs and swap options. Everything cooked exactly as expected: my eggs were spot-on over-easy, potatoes were perfectly crispy, bacon expertly cooked, pancake fluffly. Will definitely be back! ”

“ It's a new restaurant so I wasn't sure about our first visit but my expectations were greatly exceeded. Nice atmosphere - fresh and clean but a little loud. Not a lot of tables. We were greeted with a friendly smile. The menu wasn't extensive but full: omelets, Benedict's, avocado toast, mimosas, any breakfast you might want. They also serve lunch but I didn't check out that menu. The food was excellent. My omelette was generous but not excessive. My wife's avocado toast was sumptuous. YUM YUM!! My recommendation is to go now b/4 it's discovered or the season starts. We'll go back when it's cooler and sit on the patio. ”
